Jazz @the Point 2025 "Jersey Fresh"

Organizers for this 3 day event are proud to announce that their 2025 event will be dedicated to jazz artist who live in or are from New Jersey.  The “Jersey Fresh” Jazz@thePoint Festival will take place in Somers Point, NJ from October 16th through 18th and the event will be headlined by John Pizzarelli, a Grammy Award -winning guitarist and singer.

John Pizzarelli, a renowned guitarist and singer, has been hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” The Toronto Star pegged him as “the genial genius of the guitar.” And the Seattle Times saluted him as “a rare entertainer of the old school.”

Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook, Pizzarelli, with 20 solo albums and appearing on more than 40, has expanded his repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim and the Beatles. .

  • Saturday, October 18, 7:00 p.m. The Gateway Playhouse “The Benedetto All Stars” featuring Benedetto guitarists Howard Paul, Dave Stryker, and Jocelyn Gould with organist Tony Monaco and drummer Byron Landham, Admission $35
  • Saturday Late Night 9:30 p.m. Gregory’s Restaurant, “The Paul Jost Quartet, Admission Free
