This young musician from Sicily started at the age of 9 and at 13 Wynton Marsalis involved him in his European Tour. After graduating from the Musical Institute Vincenzo Bellini, he has received several international Jazz Awards. Francesco has toured, playing Jazz Clubs such as Birdland in NYC to international festivals in Brazil, Montreal and London. In 2009 he played in Washington, DC for a celebration honoring President Obama and Martin Luther King, Jr. His new 3 CD boxed set of original music has been receiving great reviews.
GRAMMY® Award-nominated and Mack Avenue recording artist John Beasley is a far-ranging pianist, composer, and arranger who’s performed with music icons from Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard, Dianne Reeves and Steely Dan, Marcus Miller and Christian McBride. Beasley is easily one of the most versatile musicians, he is a first-call keyboardist and has played on hundreds of records and recently produced the latest releases for Weather Report’s drummer Peter Erskine and legendary guitarist Lee Ritenour. When not on stage, Beasley works on box-office films such as James Bond Spectre and Skyfall, Finding Nemo and the upcoming Finding Dory. He spent a decade composing for TV shows Cheers, Family Ties, Fame, Star Trek: Next Generation and now works on singing-competition shows, including the juggernaut American Idol since 2005.
Every year, Beasley steps up to the helm as Musical Director for the Thelonious Monk Institute to direct International Jazz Day global concerts and its annual competition gala. He is a Governor on the Board of GRAMMY®.
