Award-winning vibraphonist and New Jersey native Behn Gillece leads an exciting quintet featuring musicians from the New York and Philadelphia jazz scenes. A 2018 DownBeat Rising Star Vibraphonist, Gillece has performed throughout the United States and internationally as both a bandleader and sideman. The quintet will present an evening of swinging standards, inventive arrangements, and original compositions that blend the straight-ahead jazz tradition with Gillece’s distinctive musical voice.
