Young Lions Jazz feat. PJ Keiter

Come join us on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2PM at Gregory’s Restaurant & Bar for a performance and interview with our featured artist, trumpeter PJ Keiter. PJ is a 21 year old trumpet player from Somers Point who started playing trumpet at 9 years old. From learning the basics to putting together his own ensemble, he has been leading various combinations of his band for 2 years now. He currently plays with the PJ Keiter Sextet as well as the well established Exceptions Wedding band on most weekends! Along with the talents of Richard Roehm (23) and his brother William Keiter (18), he has been playing music live in south Jersey since 2015. PJ and Will both attend New Jersey City University for Music Business, and Roehm graduated from the Music Entrepreneurship program at Penn State in 2021.
Today, their setlist is comprised of classic jazz standards like the works of Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock and Cole Porter to the hotter tunes from the libraries of Horace Silver and Freddie Hubbard! Check them out on Facebook @ThePJKeiterSextet and enjoy the hospitality and venue of Gregory’s in Somers Point!
