Tenor sax titan and living legend HOUSTON PERSON joins acclaimed guitarist MATT CHERTKOFF and his stellar trio for one unforgettable afternoon of world-class jazz.

Completing the all-star lineup are veteran jazzmen MATTHEW PARRISH on bass and PETER VAN NOSTRAND on drums.

Guitarist MATT CHERTKOFF has built an impressive international career over two decades, performing and recording alongside jazz icons such as Jimmy Cobb, Freddy Cole, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and David “Fathead” Newman. His sophisticated sound makes him the perfect counterpart to Person’s legendary playing.

HOUSTON PERSON, one of the most recorded saxophonists in jazz history, has spent more than six decades captivating audiences around the globe. A true master of soul jazz, an irresistible blend of blues and bop, he has released over 100 albums as a leader and collaborated with giants like Horace Silver, Ron Carter, Grant Green, and Cedar Walton, as well as celebrated vocalists Etta Jones, Lena Horne, and Dakota Staton.
