Jazz & Blues Showcase feat. The Steve Ash Trio

Our Jazz & Blues Showcase fall shows continue on Sunday, October 8th with the classic jazz piano trio. Featured is renowned pianist STEVE ASH, with veteran rhythm section support from  bassist HARVIE S & drummer ALVESTER GARNETT.

Pittsburgh native, New York based Steve Ash is a highly sought after ensemble leader & celebrated sideman. His distinguished four-decade resume contains performances across the U.S. & abroad with many important jazz artists. Jimmy Cobb, Louis Hayes, Frank Wess, Jon Hendricks, Harry Allen, Joe Magnarelli, Chris Connor & Annie Ross are among them.

Other credits for Mr. Ash include being chosen by the Kennedy Center & the U.S. State Department in 2004 to tour overseas as a Jazz Ambassador. His lengthy resume also contains recorded work as a leader & sideman, & the distinction of playing piano in a Claire Danes, 2007 Hollywood film.
