DESCRIPTION:The South Jersey Jazz Society is proud to announce the line up for this year’s OceanFirst Bank Foundation Jazz@thePoint Jazz Festival.  This festival which was scheduled to take place in the middle of October has been moved to November 13-15. Michael Pedicin will lead an informal discussion about the Hammond B3’s beginning\, and how it became such an important instrument in the true American Art form…..Jazz. \nThe discussion will explore the histories of the musicians who chose the organ as their way of expressing themselves\, as well as the interesting path it took from Philadelphia\, Atlantic City\, and then the rest of the world. \nThe jazz organ will be the theme of our upcoming OceanFirst Bank Foundation Jazz@the Point Festival that will be held locally from October 10-13.  Those in attendance for this education presentation will be given the opportunity to purchase Festival tickets at a discounted rate. \nA full menu and cash bar will be available.  If you plan on dinning please arrive at least 45 minutes in advance. \nAdmission is free. \n            For more information visit southjerseyjazz.org or send an email to info@southjerseyjazz.org\, or call 927-6677
