The Jost ProjectThe Jost Project, made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist Paul Jost, bassist Keving MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno, is getting raves about their CD “Can’t Find My Way Home” released by Dot Time Records. Playing classic rock in a jazz format, they are reaching a whole new generation of fans in a style that will pull them into the world of Jazz. The Jost Project is proud that two selections from their CD have been include in BFM Jazz Digital’s compilation CD called “Experience This: Reinterpreted Rock Classics.” The CD is, also, consistently charted in Jazz Week and has been picked up by college and Jazz radio stations all over the country. They recently performed at Iridium Jazz Club in New York, and have been packing houses in the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas. After hearing the CD, critic Johan van Deeg wrote on the Jazz in Europe websit: “The Jost Project is, without a doubt, one of the most creative bands I have heard for years and vocalist Paul Jost is one of the best male Jazz vocalists that I have heard since Mark Murphy. I just love this CD.” Michael Barbiero, producer/engineer/ songwriter, who has worked on projects for such legends as John Lennon, Whitney Houston, and Metallica, said to the band: “You nailed it totally. This has me positively speechless.”
